Capparis goats

The majority of the Capparis herd is pure Anglo-Nubian stock. The remainder are a collection of other pure dairy goat breeds or cross breeds. The milk from Anglo-Nubians is noted for its cheese making qualities.
	The herd currently consists of 67 milking does, 30 teenage kids (future milkers) and six bucks.

We are about to begin kidding season again, (no kidding!), so the herd size will continue to expand. Luckily, our herd manager, Tania, has been midwife over 100 times (to the goats!) so she is very skilled, and has plenty of patience for managing the herd.
