Capparis is located in the foothills of the world heritage Barrington Tops, borders on the recently declared Copeland Tops National Park and is close to the picturesque town of Gloucester. |

| The overriding design philosophy at Capparis is the integration of complementary elements. Our pasture land is set against natural bushland that covers over half of the property. This bushland and adjacent natural ecosystems anchor our management. |  |

On the remainder of the property we are examining self sustaining systems that include plants, animals, and innovative technology and reduce our reliance on imported inputs (such as chemical fertilizers and fossil fuel energy). | |||
| Most of the food that our goats eat is grown on the property. The milk they produce is harvested in our modern dairy. |  |
